The Strand
Beautiful beach, with views of magnetic Island. Netted areas for safe swimming. Free parking. A jetty, recreational park, restaurants, cafes, pools, waterpark, and barbeque areas. The large green holds regular events. Every fourth Friday of each month the strand is host to the night markets, and large fireworks displays on New Year's Eve.
